CSIC is the largest research institution in Spain with a 75-year experience. Its main activity covers the field of basic and applied research, with special focus in technology transfer and generation of start-up companies. It offers key research topics in the fields of food science, technology and nutrition, agriculture, aquaculture, livestock, environment, microelectronics and nanoscience that are relevant for the production of healthy and safe food products in a sustainable manner. It has a network of re-known museums and representative scientific centers located in different regions of Spain such as the Royal Science Museum in Madrid, Royal Botanical Garden, Students’ Residence, the House of Science in Seville, the Marine Technology Unit (Barcelona) and the Institute of Marine Research (IIM) in Vigo. Within this project, CSIC will design and implement the activities to be carried out throughout the year and will be involved in reaching RIS region population through its partner’s network in Andalucía, Murcia and Galicia. It will co-lead together with AN Group dissemination materials development to address the topic #Food Trends & Future Consumers during the “Spring Season” Activities. Subcontractors will be involved to develop some of these materials
