We will organise a pop-up event at the A-Block shopping mall in Otaniemi, Espoo in the heart of the Aalto University campus at close vicinity of VTT offices and headquartes. The topic is Future of Food.
Will discuss with the visitors about Future of Food. We are interested in hearing how the vistors see the Food scenarios of 2100 drawn by Finnish high-school students. We will explain cellullar agriculture possibilities and show some examples e.g. plant cell cultures. We will introduce FUTURE CARDS – FOOD PRODUCTION 2100 to the visitors (https://annualfoodagenda.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Food_scenario_2_2100_cards_FINAL.pdf)
Particularly we will focus on cards: 2) Urbanisation and food production, 3) Global vs. local food production, 11) Sustainably produced food and 12) Food production at the mercy of climate change.
