University of Cambridge University of Cambridge is a world-leading University whose mission is to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning, and research at the highest international levels of excellence. The University of Cambridge Global Food Security IRC and the CambPlants Hub collaborate in a wide range of communication activities throughout the year with several university forums, groups, networks and research centers. Through our networks and events, we promote an interdisciplinary approach to addressing the challenge of ensuring all people have access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and preferences for an active and healthy life. We also provide a point of coordination and a hub for all plant-related activities across the University of Cambridge and beyond. We engage with the public through festivals that draw large audiences every year, we organize talks gathering Cambridge academics, innovators and external collaborators. We collaborate with some of Cambridge museums in exhibitions and create spaces for hand-on experiences with families. We use a range of media, social media and multimedia channels
