IMDEA Food together with the Autonomous University of Madrid, as a partner of the EIT Food consortium and through its project #AnnualFoodAgenda, organizes this activity open to the general public within the framework of the event Tomorrow Starts Today. The main aim is offer to the audience a scientific perspective, on the consumption and authenticity of food, as well as new forms novels food production and the impact on the sustainability, future nutrition and all together seek potential solutions to restore this confidence.
The event purpose is to offer rigorous and scientifically backed information from various experts in nutrition, agriculture, consumption, journalists and regulators, which will enable them to act as more committed, responsible and aware consumers of the food they eat and of the production processes. A film will be screened to open the discussion about these topics related to the challenges (new food safety protocols, food authenticity, sustainability, precision nutrition, food myths, new consumption habits).
