Dr Paolo Bombelli will talk about the benefits of agrivoltaics or solar sharing in which food crops and photovoltaic panels share the same plot of land.
Agrivoltaics can benefit farmers, through increased yeild, mitigate risks associated with climate, and vastly enhance global photovoltaics capacity without compromising agricultural production.
Dr Bombelli will answer questions, following his talk.

Dr Paolo Bombelli is a biochemist with previous training in chemical engineering and is Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Howe group at the University of Cambridge.
